Camp Nights Get COLD!
The days at Acahela are usually pleasant but nights can get VERY cold.
There’s nothing worse than not being able to sleep because of the cold. Warm campers are happy campers.
Suggestions to beat the cold nights at camp -
Bring a foam pad to sleep on.
Bring a warm sleeping bag.
Bring several warm blankets. Too many are better than too few.
Bring a hat or hoodie to cover your ears at night.
Plan to sleep in sweats or fleece.
